Getting your licence, explained.
Do I need a G1 licence before I start lessons?
For in-car lessons in Ontario you'll need at least your G1. If you haven't taken the G1 knowledge test yet, we can point you toward study resources — and once you have it, we'll get you booked in for your first lesson.
What's the difference between the BDE course and hourly lessons?
The MTO-approved BDE course is the full programme: 30 hours of online theory plus 10 hours of in-car instruction, ending with your MTO certification. Hourly lessons are single 45-minute sessions you can book on their own — ideal if you already have experience and want to target specific skills. Road-test packages sit in between: warm-up lessons plus our car for the test itself.
Is the Beginner Driver Education course MTO-approved?
Yes. Our BDE programme is MTO-approved, so graduates receive a certificate that can shorten the wait between G1 and G2 to 8 months and may qualify you for insurance discounts. Check with your insurer to confirm your savings.
How many lessons will I need?
It depends on your starting point. Brand-new drivers usually benefit from the full BDE course, while those with some experience often need only a handful of hourly lessons. After your first session, your instructor will give you an honest estimate of what it'll take to be test-ready.
I'm a nervous driver — can you still help me?
Nervous learners are who we love working with most. We keep the pace gentle, start in quiet areas and build confidence one small win at a time. There's no judgement and no rushing.
I have an international licence — can you help me convert it?
Yes — newcomers to Canada are very welcome. We'll help you understand where you fit in Ontario's licensing system and prepare you for the road test you need, focusing on local rules, road signs and the driving habits examiners look for here.
How lessons actually work.
Do you offer free pick-up and drop-off?
We do. Your instructor can collect you from home, school or work within our Brampton and Mississauga service areas and drop you back afterward — so lessons fit easily around your day.
Can I use your car for the road test?
Yes. Every road-test package includes our fully insured, dual-control car at the test centre — a vehicle you already know, which takes a lot of the pressure off test day. Packages are available for Brampton and Mississauga as well as Guelph, Orangeville and Burlington.
Do you teach in an automatic or manual car?
Our lessons are taught in a modern, dual-control automatic vehicle — the same type most learners use for their Ontario road test. If you have specific requirements, let us know when you book and we'll do our best to accommodate.
Which areas do you serve?
Lessons run across Brampton, Mississauga and the surrounding areas, and we offer road-test packages in Guelph, Orangeville and Burlington. Not sure if you're in range? Send us your postal code and we'll confirm right away.
How do I book my first lesson?
The easiest way is to enrol online from the packages page — the BDE course, hourly lessons and road-test packages each have their own page, or send us a message on the contact page with your availability. We'll confirm your first lesson and arrange a convenient pick-up point across Brampton or Mississauga.
Paying, rescheduling, refunds.
How does payment work? Can I pay in instalments?
You can pay securely by card when you enrol online, or send an Interac e-Transfer to payscpss@gmail.com with your name and package in the message. Prefer to split the cost? Call us on 647-280-7874 and we'll set up a flexible instalment plan.
Do prices include HST and the MTO certification fee?
Where a package says "incl. HST", everything is built into the listed price. Individual hourly lessons include HST. The BDE course is listed at the online price plus HST, with MTO certification included. There are no surprise add-ons at checkout.
What is your refund and cancellation policy?
Lessons can be rescheduled free of charge with at least 24 hours' notice. Unused, unstarted packages are refundable minus any completed lessons and the MTO certification fee once issued. Contact us and we'll always try to find a fair solution. (Confirm your exact policy here before going live.)
